BugBase is an Indian platform for companies to quickly set up bug bounty programs that can be reached out to by ethical hackers and security enthusiasts all over the country. India has lost $18.5 bn to cybercrime, and several private and government-run websites are still not secure and frequently experience security breaches. Bug bounty programs are a way to crowdsource identifying potential threats on websites, thus safeguarding the web for all users.
We would collaborate with various private companies and the Indian government to ensure the safety of all applications. India’s cybersecurity environment is slowly maturing, and we will be pioneers in Digital India’s path of becoming a global security giant. We have already gained strong traction through various social media platforms showing that India’s hacker community is a close-knit one and is searching for a platform to use their skills to secure India
The Campus Ambassador’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Representing BugBase at your college, and acting as a link between the students of your college and BugBase
2. Ideating, planning, organizing, and promoting the platform, our events, podcasts, and the Informative Blogs through social media and various other channels
3. Strategizing and experimenting with innovative marketing and publicity strategies to drive up student participation
4. Engaging in discussions with the other CAs and the BugBase Coordinators to bring new ideas to the fest
